Tony Brandt, the founder of Duc In Altum Pilgrimages, and also the President of Casting Nets Ministries, an apostolate dedicated to training the New Evangelists for the New Evangelization believes in the deep spiritual impact a pilgrimage can have on a soul. With over 29 years of ministry experience and specialization in Discipleship and Evangelization, Tony has worked with parishes and dioceses all over the United States and beyond. He has been in over 35 states, 75 dioceses, teaching others to share the Gospel and bring people to deep relationship with Jesus.
When we began offering pilgrimages in 2017 we immediately saw their profound impact on our pilgrims- an effect unlike anything else we do. Since then, we have organized dozens of pilgrimages to multiple holy sites.
Duc in Altum is a Catholic Pilgrimage company specializing in hands-on Catholic Pilgrimages. We are dedicated to planning and training leaders so that the time spent on pilgrimage can be spent diving into the glory of the Lord and His Church. We strive to take the best care of our pilgrims and leaders, walking with them throughout the entire journey.
We are a pilgrim people and Christians have been going on pilgrimage since the beginning of the Church. Pilgrimage is a powerful way to engage others and lead them closer to Christ. The journey allows the pilgrim to encounter the lives of Jesus and the Saints. To experience how the church has engaged with different cultures time and time again throughout its rich history. A pilgrimage is as much a spiritual journey as it is a physical one. It is a unique way to enter into the mystery as we encounter the history.
