When should I launch the pilgrimage?

You should consider when the best time to go to the country or region you are thinking about.

What is the weather during that time of year?
Is it hot, cold, rainy and can you and especially your pilgrims handle these challenges?

Are there other National Holidays or events going on?
Remember, whenever there are major events happening, the prices and availability of hotels and flights can become
gamechangers.

Once you have an idea of the time of year it is best to have about a year to prepare for the pilgrimage. However it may be possible to book a trip in less time if you are confident that you will have pilgrims ready to sign up quickly.
