BECOME A PILGRIMAGE GROUP LEADER

Why Lead Your Own Pilgrimage?

Since the beginning of Christianity, we have been a pilgrim people. A pilgrimage is far more than a journey; it is a profound way to engage the soul and draw closer to Christ. Through these travels, we encounter the real lives of Jesus and the Saints, witnessing how the Church has dynamically shaped and embraced cultures across centuries of rich history.

Duc In Altum is focused and fully dedicated to make the journey for you and your pilgrims a deeply spiritual one.

We began offering pilgrimages in 2017 and immediately saw their profound impact on pilgrims — an effect unlike anything else we have done in ministry. Inspired by this, we have since organized and helped facilitate dozens of pilgrimages. With our experience we found the Lord calling us to help leaders, like you, providing the logistics for your trip, but more importantly the training to make the pilgrimage a truly Christ-centered experience.

With the Mass at the center of every pilgrimage, we see how the Lord has penetrated every aspect of human existence. We get to encounter how the Saints allowed our Eucharistic Lord to impact others through them.

Evangelization was the key to the lives of the Saints and to our lives as Disciples of Christ. Pilgrimage provides that real life experience of seeing how transformative we can be with others in our lives.

Relationship is the rule of Discipleship. It starts with a relationship with Jesus and then leads us outward to a relationship with those around us so we can introduce them to the Savior.

Nothing builds relationship like praying together on Pilgrimage!

My pilgrimages with Duc in Altum have truly been life-changing. Tony works hard to create experiences that people will be able to cherish for a lifetime. From the very beginning of the journey, every detail is handled with care and professionalism. The itineraries are beautifully designed, allowing us to maximize our time away and visit the most significant sacred sites without creating a constant feeling of being rushed. They work with local guides who are exceptionally knowledgeable and bring each location to life with historical context.

Going on pilgrimage with Duc in Altum is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I may be a little biased though, since I have gotten to go with Casting Nets three times now! From start to finish, the experience of traveling with Tony to our holy Catholic sites is first class.

Tony will take care of all of your travel needs, planning every last detail with precision and caring for all your concerns along the way. They are experts in every way. I owe so much to Casting Nets, they helped me to know Christ and our Blessed Mother as a teenager, and now they’ve helped me to know the dignity of my priesthood as we’ve travelled together to Jerusalem and Ireland. It is a joy to experience their mission, and be on mission together. On pilgrimages like this is rare that you get the whole package, people who plan your travel AND care about your soul in the process. Every part of the pilgrimage is thoroughly centered on Christ and an amazing encounter of grace. A highlight of every pilgrimage is hearing reflections on the sacred spaces where the Lord makes himself known. Ten out of ten would recommend participating in a Duc in Altum pilgrimage.
